I’ve spend a week of my summer summer holiday at Grundtvigs Højskole in Hillerød where i participated at a course in photography. A truly inspiring week with a lot of open-minded people, author readings, concerts and sing-along. Nice to be around so much creativity and engagement and to have time for reflection. A week that was dedicated to pictures – and not to food.
Each day we were taught ways of understanding photography, and with a lot of hands on experiences I left with a much broader understanding of making good and interesting portraits and photographic essays. Friday we had a vernissage for all other students and teachers.
The stay was an experience that I believe my pictures will benefit from in the future. Grundtvigs Højskole is a beautiful place, and I will, at any time, recommend people to pay it a visit.
Here is just a few snapshots from the week.
